Did You Know? Compare Timespans

on November 23 | by

Our Did You Know series brings some of Initial State’s amazing features to attention while giving tips and tricks on how to make the most of them.

Did you know that you can now compare data from two different timespans in both Tiles and Waves?

See overlapping waveforms, stacked values, and side-by-side gauges in Tiles just by selecting a period of time on the timeline, clicking the “Compare” link, and selecting the desired comparison range either by dragging the highlighted range or manually entering it.

In Waves you can compare statistics for two different time periods by selecting the desired data stream, adding 3 or 4 cursors, and then selecting Stats -> Signal Stats or Stats -> Signal Stats Over Time.

You can read more about comparing two time periods in Tiles and Waves in our support docs.
