Our Did You Know series brings some of Initial State’s amazing features to attention while giving tips and tricks on how to make the most of them.
Did you know that you can now create an event Bucket directly from the Bucket Shelf? Bucket creation is usually a one-time thing, so if you want to shorten your, say, Arduino code, by removing creating a bucket altogether, you can!
It’s super easy to create a new Bucket – just click the +cloud icon at the top of the Bucket Shelf. Name the new bucket , and optionally configure the Bucket Key and Access Key used by clicking on the “Configure Endpoint Keys” checkbox.
Click the “Create” button at the bottom and your brand new bucket will be listed at the top of your shelf!
|Have a Bucket that you’ve already made that you regret naming “Test Try 225”? Simply rename it by clicking on the “settings” link underneath the Bucket name and type in your new name. Click “Done” at the bottom and boom – renamed Bucket.
You can also view what that Bucket’s Bucket Key is so that you can append events to it.
