Our Did You Know series brings some of Initial State’s amazing features to attention while giving tips and tricks on how to make the most of them.
Did you know that you can now see your data dashboard-style? And with our auto-formatting, odds are you won’t even need to change anything to see what you want! Just click on the dataset you want to view in the left-hand shelf, and then click on the Tiles icon.
You will immediately see your data organized by signal and ticking into each tile. If you are streaming to the selected data bucket, you will see the tiles update as your data comes in. Numerical signals default to line graphs; non-numerical, bit-like and single value repeating signals default to show the last value.
Other graph types you can choose from include bar graphs, pie graphs, histograms and maps!
You can dynamically resize each tile in Edit mode by clicking and dragging the corners or rearrange the tiles by clicking the center and dragging them to the desired location. Read the complete documentation on the Tiles app here: http://support.initialstate.com/knowledgebase/topics/102613-tiles
