The Weekly Envy highlights one piece of cool tech that we’ve come across lately and really wish we could buy!
The Pebble Time is a very impressive smartwatch that mixes flexibility with convenience and streamlined interactivity. Pebble created a successful smartwatch back in 2012, but the Time’s biggest difference is it’s new timeline interface.
Instead of organizing everything inside of different apps (even though it does that too), the Pebble Time displays news, notifications, reminders, and events in chronological order. You can go back or forward with just one click!
The Time also boasts a 7-day battery life which is awesome. Along with being water-resistant and only 9.5mm thick, it’s has all the perks of a normal watch. The watch face itself can be worn with any standard 22mm watch band; combine this with the hundreds of watch faces you can choose from and the personalization is endless.
Pebble also recently introduced the Pebble Time Steel – in stainless steel with 10 days of battery life.
The Kickstarter campaign has ended, so retail prices are $199 and $299 for Pebble Time Steel. Considering that the watch can also act as a fitness tracker, control music, and send voice replies, that’s a pretty reasonable price.
